This neighborhood spot on Pico is generally crowded on weekends, when it’s full of people playing board games, darts, and arcade games upstairs. They’ll have the big-deal game projected on the big screen, and more on the TVs along the walls. The beer list here has enough variety to get you through the game, and the bar food here is pretty great. Amsterdam Ale House plays sports on a few TVs, but it feels less like a sports bar and more like a casual neighborhood spot than any other place on this stretch of Amsterdam Avenue.

Blondies on the Upper West Side is one of our favorite spots in the city to watch sports and/or eat buffalo wings. The 2024 edition of the World Beer Cup saw 290 judges from 37 countries assess 9,300 beers from 2,060 breweries from 50 countries. The Dead Poet is a solid neighborhood bar with both daytime and late-night Happy Hours.
